For young people - A junior youth club, a girls group and a war gaming session as well as trips and outings.
For older people - An armchair exercise group, coffee morning and lunch club with many trips and activities.
For people with special needs - A special needs evening group and placement opportunities for volunteering.
For homeless people - A drop in centre on weekday afternoons including a hot meal, a shower, laundry facilities and resettlement advice and support.
Basic skills support - IT literacy and numeracy sessions tailored to individual needs with one to one support.
Specialist groups including bereavement support, online form filling and parenting skills, which run on an ad hoc basis.
We are also offering all staff, volunteers and users the opportunity to access a mentor to generate opportunities and work towards aims and goals; to move forward with their lives. This has been piloted for a year and has been very successful.
